Back in the 1960’s I became interested in the History of Burrillville and its many different villages. Being a Burrillville native and having attended local schools, I realized that the study of local history was lacking in the schools in Town.

After many years of collecting the information from sources far and wide, I realized that the best way to spread the word was to get the stories published. After great success with several books printed by two different publishers, I considered the fact that some of the other valuable information was strictly of interest to the old and new inhabitants of our Town.

That was the basis for the idea to make a wide variety of books available to everyone who would want a copy for their own use. The majority of the books are either rare or out of print, and were retyped in their entirety and/or copied from the original. There are several of the books which were written by myself using the information available and which contain interesting stories and/or valuable information on the olden days in the Town of Burrillville, Rhode Island.

I believe that the way to preserve history is to share it.
